Tecton X 3

RunRepeat found the Hoka Tecton X 3 to be a true supershoe for trails with ultra-grippy and durable Vibram outsole and fantastic energy return from PEBA foam. iRunFar noted that the shoe is designed for both technical trails and ultra distances, and they were generally pleased with its performance, finding it comfortable, secure, and durable. However, iRunFar was skeptical of the new knit gaiter, while RunRepeat found it to be a premium feature, and Road Trail Run noted that the upper continues with Matryx, a durable and lightweight material. RunRepeat also found the shoe to have improved stability, but noted that it remains a narrow fit, which iRunFar confirmed, stating that it could be challenging for someone with a high instep to put on.
