Overview
Staged in El Soberbio, Misiones, Argentina, the Yaboty Ultra Trail 50 took runners through the trails, hills, waterfalls, and red-dirt tracks of the Paranaense rainforest across a 50-kilometer course. With 1600 meters of elevation gain, the route averaged 32 meters of climb per kilometer, demanding steady ascending legs without pushing into extreme vertical terrain.
The event gave competitors considerable leeway against the clock. Its 13-hour limit worked out to an approachable cut-off pace of 15.6 minutes per kilometer, making the cut-off more generous than 82% of 50k peers and tighter than only 18%. That generous time buffer allowed entrants to navigate the technical jungle terrain at a controlled hiking pace when necessary.
With 110 finishers in 2025 across its 6-edition history since 2017, the event commanded a starting line bigger than 80% of 50k fields and smaller than 19%, striking a middle ground between packed mass starts and isolated backcountry races.
