Overview
The Gorge Waterfalls 100K, a trail race put on by Daybreak Racing, takes runners through the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Cascade Locks, OR each April. Starting at Herman Creek Trailhead/Campground, the point-to-point course heads west to Benson State Recreation Area.
With 4200m of elevation gain over 100km, the course averages 42m of climb per kilometer, making it a challenging event. The 18-hour time limit translates to a cutoff pace of 10.8 minutes per kilometer, which is tighter than 36% of 100k races.
