Overview

The Red Centre Wringer Backyard Ultra was an August backyard ultra organised by the Alice Springs Running & Walking Club in Stuart, NT, Australia. Because the format is governed entirely by the clock rather than a fixed distance, competitors repeatedly took on a circuit through the Telegraph Station Historical Reserve along the East, Stuart, and Arrwe loops.

An 18-hour time limit capped the maximum duration for runners battling to stay in the event. First held in 2023, the race completed its 4 editions through 2026, when 37 finishers recorded results under the backyard format's demands.
