Experience Wild

RunRepeat found the Altra Experience Wild to have a roomy fit, plush tongue, and stable platform, making it a solid option for runners seeking comfort. iRunFar noted that the full Vibram Megagrip outsole is a well-received improvement, offering exceptional grip on various surfaces. However, iRunFar's testing team also found that the upper lacks structure, with the overly padded tongue being overkill and the midfoot support not feeling sturdy enough. RunRepeat agreed that the midsole lacks energy return, but iRunFar's testers appreciated the new Ego P35 midsole for its softness, resiliency, and enduring comfort, albeit at the expense of some ground feel.
