Mutant

RunRepeat found the La Sportiva Mutant to excel in technical terrain, but its performance dips on easier terrains, making it a specialized tool. They also noted that the upper is extremely durable and the shoe has outstanding stability. iRunFar praised the shoe's grip, comfort, and durability, and appreciated its unique wrap-around upper and lacing system, which holds the foot securely. However, iRunFar also noted that the outsole rubber is quite soft, making it less long-lasting, and that the shoe is not comfortable on pavement and hard-packed trails, a point with which RunRepeat agrees, stating that the shoe is not suitable for easier terrains.
