The Bishop High Sierra Ultramarathons 50 Miles is a trail race with 3100 meters of elevation gain over 80 kilometers, averaging 38.8 meters of climb per kilometer. This makes it a demanding course, mainly on 4-wheel drive dirt roads with some trail sections, held in Bishop, CA in May.
