Overview

Organised by Runaway Racing, the Ridgeway Chase 60k was a point-to-point trail race along the historic Ridgeway National Trail starting in Tring, United Kingdom. With a cut-off tighter than 78% of 50k races and more generous than 22%, the 10-hour time limit demanded a minimum pace of 10 minutes per kilometre across the entire 60-kilometre route.

The course gained 1000 metres of total ascent, averaging 16.7 metres of climb per kilometre to temper the pressure of that strict time barrier. In its single 2026 edition, the race drew a field that was bigger than 65% of 50k peers and smaller than 34%, seeing 63 runners cross the finish line.
