Overview

The Vogum is a 50-mile trail race that covers 64 kilometers with 3050 meters of elevation gain, making for 47.7 meters of climb per kilometer. This is a bigger field than 89% of 50-mile races.

The course follows the Welsh Coastal Path for most of its 40 miles, starting in Porthcawl and finishing in Penarth. The organiser, Pegasus Ultra Running, charges a £75 entry fee. The 7th edition of the race in 2025 saw 200 finishers. The next edition is scheduled for June 6, 2026.
